Made of 55% hemp and 45% organic cotton, with a drawstring. Perfect to buy bread or big quantities of dry foods in bulk. 42 cm long and 30 cm wide.
I used to buy my bread with a repurposed pillowcase - a tip Bea Johnson gives in her book - but I felt weird carrying around a pillowcase (maybe I’m too self-conscious!), so ended up buying a bread bag. I use it for shopping, and at home I wrap the bread in a giant Abeego beeswax wrap to keep it fresh. Wash the bag with cold water and let it air dry to avoid shrinkage.
Made by Ökocreations, a young company that is run by an awesome sister duo. All their products are handmade in their Montreal shop.
